A Long Vacation

The last few months saw a few changes in my life - some of them I was happy with, and others not so much. The bad news is that I had a health collapse, and I’m going to need to devote some time every day to keeping up with decay, or fall victim to it.

In order to do that, I’m going to get out of Alaska, and go to Europe for as long as I can, to walk in the sun every day, and then walk in the sun some more. That’s what the Doctor ordered.
The good news is that I’ll be in Venice for Mardi Gras, something I have wanted to do since I was a kid, to study mask making the Italian way. I can hardly wait.
I’ll also be visiting some of my favorite places again, and seeing some friends.
To keep the masks coming, I have hired two great people to help make the masks here in Alaska, while I am healing up abroad.
I’ve had time to train them completely, and I think you will be delighted with the quality of the work this family team do. I’m so proud of their progress at masks, and this skill, added to their love of costumes, cosplay, and theater is a great thing. I hope you agree.
We have been hard at work for the last couple of months, producing (or trying to produce) enough masks to keep the good times rolling until I get back.
We’ll be sending most of the masks to a fulfillment company, and they’ll be handling shipping while I’m gone, to make sure you get your orders on time.
The other masks will be going into storage, to help get ready for the insanity that is Halloween.
When I get back at the end of July, we’ll find a new studio space, and ramp up production again for the next couple of months.
Meanwhile - there will be few or no custom orders available.
If possible, I’ll find a studio space abroad, but if not, we can resume creation of custom, and “just for you” masks at the beginning of August 2019.
Thanks for your patience, and I hope you will keep us in mind for your future projects.
Thanks so much for your support, and I hope to come back to work in a few months with all of my health and energy restored.
